Get ORA-01005 error trying to generate Venn diagram using External authentication for Oracle (4244779)

Trying to do a join analysis and generate the Venn diagram, using external authentication connecting to an Oracle database.  When clicking on the join to do the analysis, and generate the Venn diagram, an ORA-01005: null password give; logon denied error message is received.  It sounds like it is not recognizing the external authentication.

Is it possible to get the analyzer to recognize the database is using external authentication and pass the credentials?
