Error received when adding a source in Recovery Manager for Exchange 4.0:
"Failed to process backup media:
Could not load type 'QuestSoftware.RecoveryManager.MAL.CXBSANetworkerFormatHandlerClass'from assembly
'QuestSoftware.RecoveryManager.MAL.Interop, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKey Token=cad7840cee602442'."
Upgrading from 3.0, 3.1 or 3.1.1 to the 4.0 Release of Recovery Manager for Exchange.
RESOLUTION:
1. Close all running instances of the Recovery Manager console, if any.
2. In the Recovery Manager installation folder (Program Files\Quest Software\Recovery Manager for Exchange by default), delete the following files:
QuestSoftware.RecoveryManager.ExchDB.Interop.dll
QuestSoftware.RecoveryManager.StoreHost.Interop.dll
QuestSoftware.RecoveryManager.MAL.Interop.dll
3. Start Recovery Manager.
After you start Recovery Manager, the correct versions of those files are restored from the locally saved copy of the installation package.
