Lists/Libraries using "Link to Document" Content Type fails to migrate correctly to ShaePoint Online (Modern Site) -
Description
When migrating a list/Library (from SP 2010 to SPO) using the Content Type "Link to Document", the items created using it will not working properly after migration. The link function is broken and will not redirect to the value in the "URL" field. -
Cause
This is a known issue. -
Resolution
Our development team is aware of this issue and is working towards a solution in a future release of Content Matrix.
As a temporary workaround, the following steps may be followed;
a) Run the migration doing a Copy Site ==> Paste All Site Content
Or
b) Migrate to a Classic SharePoint Online Site
