Description
When connecting to a Postgres database server in Azure, Toad Edge shows a message which says you have to use SSL and tells you to specify paths to certificates, even if there are no certificates in use in the environment. pgAdmin connects to the database server without using SSL.
'FATAL: SSL connection is required. Please specify SSL options and retry.
Edit database connection properties for 'connection_name' or try to reconnect' -
Resolution
Please use a custom connection string, defined on the first page of the connection properties, in this format:
jdbc:postgresql://[host]:[port]/[database]?user=[username]&password=[password]&ssl=true -
