Poor Performance when Clicking Script tab or doing Single Object Compare -
Description
In 12.7.1.11 of Toad for Oracle, clicking "script" tab in Schema Browser for table in large schema, or do "Compare" of "Single Object" for table in large schema across 2 DBs, returns quickly, < 1 sec elapsed time.Later versions including 12.12.0.39, it's extremely slow, *10 min or more* before returning *identical results*.
The "Scrip" tab can also freeze and cause Toad to crash in some cases. -
Cause
There was a change in a background query for constraints that is causing this delay. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:NoneSTATUS:This issue is fixed in Toad for Oracle 13.0. This version can be downloaded from the downloads section of our website, which you can access by clicking here.

Additional Information
This has been fixed in the v13.0 beta, which can be downloaded here. The issue of the slow/freezing Script tab was also improved in TOR-2190. Updating the statistics on the data dictionary also helped in that case. SR#4158935
