I have a TERM key for Toad for Oracle. I have scheduled tasks created via the Automation Designer which have been running smoothly. However today I got notice that the TERM key will expire in 30 days. Every time I just launch Toad, I get a License window prompt for the user to click OK to confirm this reminder.
However this is now interfering with my scheduled tasks. Now the same license prompt for a user to click OK to confirm how many days are left in the TERM key will display even when Toad runs in the background for a scheduled task.
Is there a way around this?
It is a common requirement for the licensing window across all products to show the licensing form at 30, 20, 10, and <= 5 days before a trial or term key runs out to encourage them to register or renew. However, it should only pop up on the above-mentioned days. It will not pop up (for example) 28, 17, 14, or 6 days prior to expiring.
SOLUTION:
Renew Trial or Term key.
WORKAROUND:
Manually run the scripts if you see the job not being deployed on the affected days and anticipate to run jobs manually on next itteration of license renewal reminder until a new key is in place.
