Description
When setting up new logshipping plan via GUI Wizard, the following error displays:
Unable to successfully execute SLS_LogShipping_AddPlan for Publisher!
Error: Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.SLS_LogShipping_AddPlan'.
Unable to successfully add subscriber for 'servername_a' and 'servername_b' Error executing SLS_LogShipping_AddPlan for subscriber!
Error: Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.SLS_LogShipping_AddPlan'.
Plan failed to install. Removing plan.
Unable to successfully execute SLS_Remove_Plan.Error: Could not find stored procedure 'dbo.SLS_Remove_Plan'.

Cause
Publisher did not detect server\instance\port due to network settings, Hostname, DNS resolution, Alias or change to servername. LiteSpeed uses default port 1433, unless specified otherwise.

Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
1. In Query Analyzer: select @@servername.
2. In LiteSpeed, register the server as servername, not instance\1000.Note: Where instance\name is the @@servername value.
WORKAROUND 2:
Utilize server\instance\port.
