Error: "Service Quest MessageStats Scheduler Service failed to install with error: (4233692)

When trying to install MessageStats 6.9.0, you encounter the error "Service Quest MessageStats Scheduler Service failed to install with error: System Error. Code: 1057. The account name is invalid or does not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name specified" This occurs when the credentials for the MessageStats service account are entered on the Service Account Setup page of the installer in the format: username

This is a defect: TFS#: 154633

This can also be caused if you are trying to install using a local account and not the domain service account

WORKAROUND:

Enter the MessageStats Service account credentials in the format domain\username

Ensure you are running the installer using the MessageStats domain service account
