While trying a remote installation of LiteSpeed via the GUI console, get the error; " 107: Error while performing remote installation on <server_name>". The problem is not the same as documented via Solution 34070 - it is not a named instance and/or not on the default port of 1433.
Permissions issue - can be tested by selecting the Test Connectivity from the LiteSpeed Enterprise Console GUI. Select the test Copy/Delete test.
Ensure that the login you are using to perform the remote installation is a member of the local administrator group on the target server and also a member of the local administrator group on the source/client pc from where you start the remote installation. This is in addition to having administration permissions on the SQL Server itself.
