Description

Error: "ORA-00942 table or view does not exist" when trying to change the current schema view. This happens when access rights have been implemented in Schemas
Cause

The logged in user needs Select dictionary privileges to be able to view other schemas.
Resolution

RESOLUTION:
Grant dictionary privileges to the user and check that the SQL Navigator option General | Session | "Enable using DBA dictionary views" is enabled/checked off.
