Very rare scenario where agent log file may not roll over as expected and instead continue to grow indefinitely until the agent is stopped, log deleted and agent re-started. Once this is done, the log rolls over normally as expected.

Product defect.
Resolution
WORKAROUND
1.Stop the agent.
2. Delete the log-file in question
3. Start the agent
