Toad always opens in primary screen if maximized. If in windowed mode it will 'remember' its previous position until I move it approximately 3/4 of the way across the primary screen before closing. If I place it any further across it re-appears cut off on the left hand side, back in the primary window.
WORKAROUND:
None
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad
Scenarios:
1) Launch Toad (not-maximized => movable)
2) Move Toad window to secondary display
3) Exit
4) Re launch
5) Opens on Primary display
6) Launch Toad (not-maximized => movable)
7) Move Toad window to secondary display
8) Maximize
9) Exit
10)Re launch
11)Opens on Primary display
12)Launch Toad (not-maximized => movable)
13)Move Toad window to secondary display
14)Minimize
15)Exit
16)Re launch
17)Opens on Primary display
Here are some interesting variations on the above:
1) Launch Toad (not-maximized => movable)
2) Move Toad window partially (~50%) onto secondary display
3) Exit
4) Re launch
5) Opens in ~50% position
6) Launch Toad (not-maximized => movable)
7) Move Toad window partially (~70%) onto secondary display
8) Exit
9) Re launch
10)Opens in ~70% position
11)Launch Toad (not-maximized => movable)
12)Move Toad window partially (>75%) onto secondary display
13)Exit
14)Re launch
15)Opens on primary display, but in a position that reflects what it should have been on the secondary; like it "wrapped around" and came out back on the primary display.
