On several dash boards the xp_cmdshell statement is appears without any additional information detailing what is running.
SQL PI captures the SQL text as SQL Server reports them on the active requests.
In this example - the command text is considered a parameter by SQL Server and, as with any parameter to any procedure, this is not captured. The stored procedure will alwasy be the aggregate of all of the stored procedures of that type that have run
Instead, the user can expand the other SQL statements or TSQL Batches node in the Performance Tree that are consuming resources. For example, the user can expand Programs, Sessions, under the Stored Procedures to look at where it is called from.
