Description
The administrator account or the client account keeps disappearing from the Desktop Authority Administrative service configuration section. The accounts disappear even when browsing via Active Directory, and the message “For optimal security, please select a user account for the Client Service that does not belong to the Domain Admins or Administrators groups“ is displayed.

Cause
The accounts used for the Desktop Authority Administrative service are not members of the required security group in Active Directory. There is a problem with the accounts unrelated to Desktop Authority. -
Resolution
Add the user accounts to the required Active Directory security groups. Create new accounts and add them to the Desktop Authority Administrative service.
