The Desktop Authority installation generates the following error messages:
“This access control list is not in canonical form and therefore cannot be modified.”
“Error in creating shares.”
“Error in Registering product: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”

Cause
This has been identified as a defect that might occur when upgrading to Desktop Authority 9.0. -
Resolution
Resolution
Uninstall Desktop Authority then reboot the server. Start the install again.
