Error when using TNSNames files using Aliases: "switch from current encoding to specified encodin
Description

Attempted to use Debugger on a RAC database and received the error: "Switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported".

Also tried to log on to the Oracle instance directly and that gave the same error.
Cause

Toad does not support TNSNames using Aliases.
Resolution

Modify the TNSNames file and not use an Alias for the Database used to debug on.
