Spotlight client slow for all users. -
Description
Users noticed a general slow down of navigating around in the Spotlight client for all users. Local client on Diagnostic Server machine also slow. -
Resolution
Increase limit of memory usage used by Diagnostic Server:
1. Login to your Diagnostic Server server and backup the file C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\bin\SpotlightDiagnosticServer.ini file to a different path outside of this location
2. Edit file with Notepad
3. Change "-Xmx2048m" to "-Xmx4096m"
4. Save the file
5. Restart the Diagnostic Server service
