When assigning the logon script applet from the main manager, one or both of the following error messages is displayed to the user:
"Unable to assign script to selected users, please verify that you have the proper permissions to do so."
"NetUserGetInfo Failure #2221."
"NetUserSetInfo Failure #2226."
The assign logon script applet is built into the manager and should function properly under normal circumstances. However, if one or more of the event log files are corrupt, the assign logon script applet will not function properly and will generate the aforementioned error messages.
Repair the .evt files by following the instructions outlined in Microsoft KB172156: How to Delete Corrupt Event Viewer Log Files
