Error when executing the script "getTopVMsForMetric" (4216753)

Several WARN and ERROR messages in the Foglight Management Server (FMS) logs about an error when executing the script "getTopVMsForMetric":

2015-01-07 05:01:05.522 ERROR   [HOST_NAME] com.quest.wcf.core.module.function.FunctionManager - Error executing script id=system:virtualvmw.getTopVMsForMetric name="'getTopVMsForMetric' from the System module VMware"

Also in the FMS logs:

2015-01-07 05:21:47.971 ERROR   [Data-3-thread-11008] com.quest.nitro.service.topology.TopologyService - An unexpected error occurred which may cause undesired behavior. You may want to contact customer support if you see this error again: Error obtaining write lock on type VMWVirtualMachineTopResourceConsumers

Follow the steps below to solve the issue:

1. Disable all VMware agents from the VMware Administration tab.
2. Under "Administration | Cartridges | Cartridge Inventory" delete the following cartridges:
   - Virtual VMware Admin
   - Virtual-VMware-Base
   - Virtual-VMware-Dependencies
   - Virtual-VMware
3. Click in another dashboard, notice the VMware dashboard is missing
4. Install and enable VMware cartridge 5.6.11.3, only the following components:
   - Virtual-VMware-5_6_11_3.car
   - Virtual-VMware-Admin-5_6_11_3.car
5. Click any dashboard, then the VMware dashboard should appear. Navigate to the "Administration" tab and activate the agents disabled in step#1
6. Wait for 2-5 minutes for the VMware dashboard to populate the vCenters, Virtual Machines and others. The historic information should be there as well. Check if the top-N consumers appear.
