Rule filtering exclusion for long running sessions not working -
Description
After configuring alerting for long running sessions and adding exclusion filters, alarms are still fired in the following scenarios:
Adding multiple "Exclude" filters for the same dimension or criteria; for example, two different programs.
Adding "Exclude" filters for different dimensions; for example, both the database server itself (Host Name) as well as a specific application (Program Name).
This issue affects rules: DBSS - Long Running Session and DBO - Long Running Session.

Cause
An "AND" is used between filter dimensions / criteria. -
Resolution
Considering an "AND" condition is used between dimensions, to include or exclude one dimension with multiple conditions, add one filter to match the conditions using a regular expression.
For example, if both program1 and program2 are to be excluded as "Program Name" dimension, add an exclude filter with a regular expressions (program|program2) to match the condition. Do not add an individual filter for each program name.
Note that if using different dimensions both filters need to match for a session to be excluded or included.
