Is there a way to allow Foglight users that do not have Administrator rights to create and delete blackouts?. We have read-only users which require blackout permissions.
NOTE: The steps will only work on FMS 5.7.5.8 and lower. Foglight 5.9.3 introduced (FGL-19640) Eliminate requirement for administrative permissions in order to perform a blackout
Please follow the steps below to
[1] create a new blackout role in Users and Security Management Dashboard name it and assign Operators permission for the role.
[2] On the left panel choose Configuration select Definitions and find the Setup module under Administration.
[3] Edit the module (using the dropdown menu on the right) and add the new 'blackout role' as 'Relevant' and 'Allowed' Roles.
[4] Edit the Blackout module and add the new 'blackout role' and Operator as 'Relevant' and 'Allowed' Roles.
