How to configure the ITADAM service to run under Local System account?

Resolution
-Open Services.msc snap-in and find“Quest InTrust Plug-in for ADAM Service”service
-Stop“Quest InTrust Plug-in for ADAM Service”service
-Right click and Open“Quest InTrust Plug-in for ADAM Service”properties | selectLog Ontab | select“Local System account”underLog on asoption | confirm changes Select OK
-ADAM ADSI Edit fromStart | Programs | ADAM | ADAM ADSI Edit
-This will open you ADAM instance.
-Expand My Connection |( CN=Configuration,CN= ….)
-Navigate and click to(CN=Roles)
-On the right pane select properties(CN=Administrators)
-Scroll attribute list and find“member”attribute
-Select“member”attribute and click“Edit”
-Click the button“Add Windows Account”
-From the“Select Users, Computers, or Groups”opened window select“Location”
-Select Local Computer (where the ADAM instance is installed) and specify“SYSTEM”account.
- Confirm changes press Ok
-Press Ok and exit ADAM ADSI Edit
-Open Services.msc snap-in and find“ADAM”service
-Press Restart“ADAM”service
-Find and restart“Quest InTrust Plug-in for ADAM Service”service.
Now your ITADAM service is running under Local System account
