User opens the schema browser and clicks on the object, table, function, or procedure option then receives the error:
"The application has encountered a problem. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
'klBlack' is not a valid integer value."
with a check box to "Terminate application".
OK button.
SOLUTION 1:
Reset Toad.ini
1. Close Toad.
2. Browse to default folder: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files
3. Locate your Toad.ini file and rename it to Toad.in.OLD.
4. Re-launch Toad and log on.
5. Open the Schema Browser and the issue should be resolved.
SOLUTION 2:
Reinstall Toad for Oracle. (Make sure you manually delete the "Toad for Oracle" folder if it's left behind after un-installation.)
