NDMP Restore job failed with "cannot create directory: No such file or directory". (4048021)

Symptoms:
NDMP restore job failed with the following error:

Information 2010/02/08 14:27:18 11161 Data Plugin uklobbs101 NDMP: NORMAL 0: RESTORE: /vol/IM-04894444/APR07/Gcp - cannot create directory: No such file or directory.

The NDMP server was changed from uklocfs1 to uklocfs4 and the restore job was amended with the new Filer name along with the volume it should be restored to, but the restore job still failed.

Make sure that the new Filer name has been added into the NDMP Plugin within the Backup window.
Also make sure that the directory / path where you want to restore exists and can be seen within NDMP Plugin Backup window, as well as having the correct permissions for that directory.
You will then have to right click on the item you wish to restore and select Rename. Tick the Rename option and supply the full path that can be seen in the Backup window where you wish to restore to. Then specify the new Filer name within the Restore Options tab. Finally run the restore job.
