RMAN auto control file backup fails with ORA-19513 error, similar to below:
RMAN-03009: failure of Control File and SPFILE Autobackup command on ccontrolfile channel at 03/15/2009....
ORA-19513: failed to identify sequential file
ORA-27206: requested file not found in media management catalog
Recovery Manager complete.
Failed with exit code 1
RMAN returned exit code 1 -
Resolution
Make sure that correct NetVault Server name is specified in the Oracle APM configuration "NetVault Server" field. Please also make sure that correct values are set in "Do Restore from NetVault Server" and "Restore Backup taken from NetVault Client" field.
