Symptoms:
A popup message can be displayed during backups and also freezes NetVault GUI.

Resolution
The auditor process stores user information and answers requests about whether a user may perform an operation and oversees NetVault events and notification. Sometimes these files can become corrupt.
The solution is to move the files audit.bin & users.bin to a safe temporary location then restart NetVault service.
This will recreate new .bin files.
