Symptoms: Duplications aren't running.
Example:
1. Phase 1 of a job is scheduled in the evening at 6 PM.
2. Phase 2 of the same job is scheduled at 4 AM the next day.
3. NVDB backup is scheduled at 1 AM and the 'Compact database tables...' option is selected
Result: The phase 2 schedule will be removed and it will not run.
To continue checking the database, either schedule the backup to run after all phase 2 duplications have finished, or manually initiate database checks using nvscheddbcheck while no phase 2 duplications are scheduled.
Alternatively, you can deselect the "Compact Database Tables after backup" option on the NetVault Database backup job, Backup Options tab. If the compact option is not selected, the phase 2 duplications are not impacted. However, your database will no longer be checked regularily.
This defect has been fixed as of the June `09 release. An upgrade to the latest version on the server should resolve the problem.
