This is a Fault that we only have a Workaround, No resolution yet
When attempting to have an event trigger the execution of a report job which emails its output to the system operator.:
If:
You create New Job using Events in Advanced Options Tab on NetVault Backup.
You save the job with using 'Run a Job' in Global Notification.
Run created job
This will Produce the following two erros in the Log:
Error: ... /usr/local/netvault/util/nvjobstart failed in script usr/local/netvault/scripts/global/sysrunjob.sh
Error: ... 'Notification script failed with error code 141 : /usr/local/netvault/scripts/global/sysrunjob.sh'
Symptoms:
The following errors in the log file:
Error: ... /usr/local/netvault/util/nvjobstart failed in script usr/local/netvault/scripts/global/sysrunjob.sh
Error: ... 'Notification script failed with error code 141 : /usr/local/netvault/scripts/global/sysrunjob.sh'
There is only a workaround which is: When NetVault Service is restarted once after this problem occurred, sysrunjob.sh will succeed.
The Machine will remain error free until the next OS Reboot.
