Restored files are unreadable SNAP Server (Guardian OS) (4047283)

Description: Customer's Snap server died and they are attempting to restore data backed to a different NetVault location/client.

Symptoms: Restore of data backed up from the Snap server to a different client runs correctly, but the files restored are unreadable.

Data backed up from a Snap server is only designed to be restored to a Snap server. The Snap server restored to does not have to be the Snap server that the data was backed up from, but it MUST be a Snap server running NetVault on Guardian OS.

* Although data backed up from a Snap server (running Guardian OS) then restored to another NetVault server (not running Guardin OS) will appear to restore correctly, the data will be unreadable. You can only restore data backed up from a Snap server to a Snap server.
