Automatically unloading media after job completion (4047098)

In a case where it is required to empty drives or unload tape the following can be done to return the tape to their original slot.


Open the NetVault Device Management
Locate the library and right click on it to select modify
Go to the Configure Tab
Locate the Library and right click on it
Select "Configure"
Within the Configuration tab, set the "Return Inactive Media to Slot Delay [0 = never] (min.)", to a number other than Zero (Zero means never unload). If you put 1 the tape will be unload after 1 minute of inactivity.
Click OK
On the Modify Library window Click on "Save Details" button.
