Symptoms: Exchange backup fails with the error "Failed to prepare the selection tree and backup options"
The binary log shows the following error:

The issue here is that the VSS system writer is not present when running the command "vssadmin list writers"
When we start a system state backup we need to rely on the relevant VSS writer being present on the system,without this the backup will fail.
