Description: Restore Window Does Not Show Saveset, After Putting Tape Into Library
Best practice, when you put a tape back into the library, when you the Saveset and it does not show up in the Restore Window:
1. Go Into Media Management, to check if the Tape show in there
2. Right Click on the Tape & choose the option to "Scan"
3. After It finishes scanning, go back into the Restore Window
**note** if you still had it open during scan, close it and open a new window
4. You should now see the "Saveset" that you couldn't see previously
If by chance this does not work, you will need to do the following
1. Go into Netvault Device Management
2. Right Click on the Library
3. Choose the option to "Open Door"
4. Go Into NetVault Media Management
5. Right Click on the Tape in question
6. Choose the option to "Remove" - click yes/ok
7. Go back into NetVault Device Management
8. Right Click on the Library
9. Choose the option to "Close Door"
10. Scan in the tape in Question (even after the initial scan, after closing door)
You should now see your saveset in the Restore Window.
