Description:
Configuring the Encryption plugin tab, the "Available Encryption Algorithm" dropdown only shows "No Module Selected"


Symptoms:
This may occur after a upgrade to the NetVault core software.

Starting with NetVault: Backup v8.2.1, the Encryption Plugin is no longer bundled with the NetVault: Backup Server and Client installation package. The Encryption Plugin is now available as separate binaries that are downloaded and installed on NetVault: Backup client machines on which you want to perform encrypted backups and restores.

Starting with the Encryption Plugin v2.0, the Encryption Plugin now has a Standard Algorithm Option that provides the CAST-128 algorithm and an Advanced Algorithm Option that provides the AES-256 and CAST-256 algorithms. Each algorithm is available as a separate binary that can be downloaded and installed on NetVault:

If you are upgrading the core software from pre 8.2.1 to a higher version, you will need to download the encryption plugin upgrades and install them. That will populate the "Available Encryption Algorithm" dropdown.
