Description:
There is an issue with the Apple Fiber Channel boards:
The Atto manuf. board is OK but the LSI based board has issues with Auto-negotiation.
This issue causes the OS to recognize the Device but NetVault does not find any device whenever we are trying to add it to the NetVault Device Management.

Symptoms:
The customer installs the Fiber Channel attached Tape Library to the Machine running the Netvalt Server software, but the devices are not seen by the NetVault software in the Device Management when adding it to the NetVault.
 

Set the negotiation to 2GB on both sides on the Fiber Channel network.
Power Cycle the the Tape Library
Try adding it again in the NetVault Device Management.
Now you should see the Tape Library and be able to add it to the NetVault.
