When a NetVault notification is triggered, the following log error is returned:
Notification script "C:/Program Files (x86)/BakBone Software/NetVault Backup/scripts/users\mail.bat" failed:
'Script "C:/Program Files (x86)/BakBone Software/NetVault Backup/scripts/users\mail.bat" failed - exit code 1'
However the notification succeeds.
From the nvsendmailxxx.log trace file, we see the failure to find a value for the environement variable NVEMAIL1:

- If you intend to receive 2 notification for the same event, (via Global Notifications and via User Profile Notifications),
make sure an email address is set under:
NVGUI> Access Control> right click on the current user (default)> User Properties> User Details tab > E-mail1
- If you only intended to receive 1 notification per event, disable the user Notification set up under:
NVGUI> Access Control> right click on the current user (default)> User Properties> Notification Profile
