Description
Bare Metal Recovery Plug-in Live Client for Windows backup fails - "Error: Failed to take VSS Snapshot".
This occurs on Windows 2008 R2 machines running SQL Server or Exchange Server which are installed with Bare Metal Recovery Plug-in Live Client for Windows version 4.0.9.
It occurs only when the "Select All VSS Writers" backup option is enabled for the job.

Resolution
Ensure the "Select All VSS Writers" backup option is not enabled when backing up Windows 2008 R2 machines running SQL Server or Exchange Server.
This defect will be resolved in a future release of Bare Metal Recovery Plug-in Live Client for Windows.
