How do I stop from getting emails on certain job conditions? (4045237)

Global Notification event options

Symptoms:
If notifications are being sent on Job Completion, Job Warnings and Job failures and you only wish to have notifications that state; for example (Job Completion). You can change your options to reflect only Job completion.

On the NetVault GUI go to the "Administration Menu" choose the sub-menu "Global Notifications".

In this Window on the "Global Notifications" tab, the "Job" folder should have a blue circle around it.

Double click this Job folder to open up it’s sub-contents.

In this field your options for what you wish to be notified on will have blue circles around them.

If there are any options that you do not wish to be selected, simply double click them to open the Sysop E-mail and Sysop Operator message.

Deselect the Sysop E-mail and Sysop Operator message check boxes and Save the global Notification profile by clicking on the square box icon up in the top left corner under the File menu.

This will change the Global Notifications teh settings for every job to your specifications.
