Description: When Cleaning Tape is inserted into Library slot and Library Arm tries to load it Netvault Device Manager shows the drive drop off line. -
Resolution
First thing you need to check is the Supported Library list on the BakBone Website to verify Netvault supports automated cleaning of your model Library. If it does then the problem is you do not have the library configured properly for the cleaning tape. Please refer to the Netvault Administer Guide for the prober procedure for configuring the cleaning tape.
