Can't add device to Sun StorEdge NAS NDMP device. (4044366)

Description: Can't add device to Sun StorEdge NAS NDMP device.

Symptoms: NetVault Device Manager can add any other virtual libraries or physical libraries on the server or smart client fine as long as the Storedge device has not been configured yet.
NetVault can backup and restore the StorEdge device to a virtual library OK.
It's only when the Add library option is selected in Device management that NetVault hangs forever.

Problem: Netvault was scanning for the C2 tape library SCSI attached to the Sun 5320 NAS for ever. We let it scan at one point for 20 minuets. When we probed on the NAS box for the library it could not find it either.
It turned out the latest version of the Sun NAS firmware was causing the problem. The version that was installed was 4.21.M1 B19, when the customer rolled it back to 4.21.M0 B123 we found the tape library immediately.
