Description: How to search the Knowledge Base from the NetVault Logs Window.
When Viewing a Binary Log , if you highlight and right click on any Log Message, You will get a menu with two options:
Set Event
Knowledge Base Query
If you want to get more information related to that Log Message, you can select the second Option (Knowledge Base Query) and the Log Message Viewer window will open where you can enter any Key Word or a Log ID to Search the Knowledge Base.
Symptoms:
When viewing a NetVault Binary Log:
1)- Highlight and right Click on any Log Message.
2)- Select the Knowledge Base Query option of the submenu.
3)- The Log Message Viewer window will open where you can enter any Key Word or a Log ID number and press Search. this will give a list of possible matches found on the Knowledge Base.
