Symptoms:
After upgrading to VaultDR Online 3.0, VaultDR Online backups fail with errors similar to the following
Information 2008/07/01 12:17:25 369 Data Plugin vdrtest Host NETVAULT has not responded after 10 seconds.
Information 2008/07/01 12:17:25 369 Data Plugin vdrtest Use "stcheck NETVAULT" to diagnose a network connection problem.
Warning 2008/07/01 12:17:25 369 Data Plugin vdrtest Failed with exit code 3
Error 2008/07/01 12:20:08 369 Data Plugin vdrtest Timeout expired while waiting for BB agent
Reason:
VaultDR Online uses the Storix component to create a bootable image out of the currently running Linux installation during backup. VaultDR Online calls the Storix utilities and waits for them to connect. If they encounter an error, hang, or cannot be found, the above errors are logged.
