Problem:
NetVault 7.x (and above) Windows Install fails
Description:
The install will fail with an error to one of the postinstall.sh.output files. This is usually caused by a long path to the temp directory, or not properly unzipping the installation files. -
Resolution
-Unzip the installation files to a local drive at the root, i.e. C:\NV. Insure that the proper directory structure was created.
-Set the environment variable for the temp directory to c:\temp
-Delete the entire NetVault directory for the failed install.
-Run the install again. -
