As oracle Linux 5.9 is a customized version of RHEL ,The prerequisites needed for installing oracle Linux 5.9 should be the same as that of RHEL 5.X .below is the list of rpm needed to be installed before the NetVault on oracle linux 5.9 depending on the operating system version
RHEL 5.x Before installing NetVault Backup on RHEL 5.x, install the applicable package from the installation CD:
• RHEL 5.x x86-32: libXp-1.0.0-*.i386.rpm • RHEL 5.x x86-64: libXp-1.0.0-*.i386.rpm
• RHEL 5.x Itanium: libXp-1.0.0-*.ia64.rpm and llibXmu-1.0.2-*.ia64.rpm
