Cannot add VTL: The directory to create the disk library in does not exist
Description

Not able to add Virtual Tape Library in NetVault. The error message is:
The directory to create the disk library in does not exist.
Disk library not created.
Cause

Cause 1
Buffalo NAS was not join to domain
Cause 2
User account does not exist or user does not have full admin rights.
Resolution

1. Login to Buffalo NAS
2. Join Buffalo NAS to domain
3. Create a user account in NAS
4. Create a user account in the active directory,
Note : The username in Buffalo NAS must be the same as the user account in active directory.
5. Login to NetVault process manager | select Log on | Type in the user account which you created in the active directory.
6. Add the VTL in NetVault. Go to Manage devices | Add devices.
