Description
The DL1x00 Backup and Recovery appliance, powered by AppAssure, provides rapid backup and recovery across physical, virtual cloud locations enabling local, offsite or disaster recovery. The DL1x00 provides uninterrupted access to critical data. It's designed for rapid deployment, go from box to backups in approximately 20 minutes — making it ideal for small businesses.
To ensure the optimal user experience with the DL1x00 appliance we have preset some features for appropriate sizing and performance. These settings have been tested by our development and QA departments enabling simplified deployment and reducing the guesswork in sizing.

**For DL1000(if DL1000 flag is set in their license) the default retention period should be the following:
- Keep all Recovery Points for 2 Days
- Keep one Recovery Point per day for 5 Days
- Keep one Recovery Point per week for 3 Weeks
- Keep one Recovery Point per month for 2 Months
- Number of simultaneous Rollups: 1
