Description
The following error appears after upgrading Replay 4.
"Details- Failed to mount epoch C: 2262 to mount point C:\Users\REPLAY~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Edb5F90.tmp{94A7F913-8E3F-11E2-9E7F-00155D69450B} - The service has not been started.
Reboot, or dismounting all Recovery points before upgrade as the logic of the repository is typically changed which will affect mounted recovery points. Reboot will clear/clean up anything which is cashed in memory by Replay or Appassure." -
Resolution
Before upgrading, remove all mounted recovery points or this error will occur.
Reboot the server after the upgrade is completed to ensure anything which is stuck in cash/memory is unmounted/released. -
