To resolve this issue, complete the following steps.
- After mounting the mail server recovery point, click on the Core in the Replay Console.
- Select the Mounted Recovery Points tab and then click Explore.
- In Explorer, navigate to the folder in the recovery point where the EDB(s) and transaction logs reside.
- Grant the user full permissions to the folders.
- If prompted by the UAC before continuing, click Yes to allow the access change.
- Ensure that the user under which the Replay service is running has full access permissions to the Mailbox store.
- Retry the mail restore.
