The snapshot for the C: volume fails constantly with the ADAM VSS writer with the following error:
“The VSS writer ‘ADAM (NFSInstance) Writer’ failed during the ‘DoSnapshotSet’ phase with error WriterErrorNonRetryable. The VSS writer state is FailedAtPostSnapshot”
After the snapshot failure, vssadmin list writers shows that the ADAM VSS writer is failed with non-retryable error. Performing a vshadow C: command passes without excluding that writer. Vshadow puts the writer back in a stable state.
