How can a new license be applied?
How can a new license key be installed for an existing EMW/QMM EX Project?

In EMW Project (or QMM)  please go to Help - About - License and browse (navigate) to the new license file.

All agents will still have the outdated information about the old license.

To update the agents perform the following steps:

1. Expand in EMW Project the appropriate organization
   
2. Find the server, use the right mouse menu, select "Properties", when new window opens close it with OK. This step will update (populate) the config.ini file for the agent with updated licensing information.
   
3. If Commit Changes is not available the same can be achieved by using the steps mentioned above and selecting "Refresh Agent Status" instead of selecting "Properties", it will update the agents configuration as well.

Note: migration product licenses are not cumulative. When applying the new license ensure the new license is bigger than the old license.

Only one license can be applied at a time.

For example if the original license was for 5000 objects, and then another 1000 had to be purchased, the resulting license file needs to reflect 6000 objects total. Licensing is not cumulative.

When requesting an additional license from Quest representative please explain that you already have existing license and would like to add more.
