After completing the upgrade of database cartridges to versions 6.0.1.10 or higher including fixes for Log4j vulnerabilities, files for version 1.2.17 remain under the {fglam}\agents\SPIRepository\{version}\lib directory of the Foglight Agent Manager host.
After upgrading the database cartridges to version 6.0.0.10 or higher, the SPIRepository agents and associated cartridges are no longer required, but may still remain in the environment. The SPIRepository cartridges contained the Infobright software used by SQL PI prior to version 5.9.5.20. Removing the Infobright software from the Database cartridges reduced the cartridge sizes from over 300mb down to approximately 120mb per cartridge.
Complete the steps in the following sections in order to remove remaining agents and cartridge folders:
Please note that domain specific agents such as DB_SQL_Server_SPI_Repository, SSAS_SPI_Repository, DB_Azure_SPI_Repository, DB_Oracle_SPI_Repository or DB_MySQL_PI should not be deleted.
Please note that the SPIRepository cartridge (non-OS specific) should not be disabled.
Undeploy of the agent packages should remove files under {fglam}\agents\SPIRepository, but if any remaining directories from SPIRepository agent types are still present in the agent manager host it should be safe to remove. The FglAM process may need to be stopped first.
